New WOMEN'S RECORD at the Seville Half Marathon 2026

The 2026 edition of the Seville Half Marathon made history with a new overall record in the women’s race and an exciting competitive battle in the men’s category. The event, which brought together 20,000 runners, the highest participation figure in its history, was held on January 25 with a massive atmosphere along the 21,097 meters of the urban course.
In the women’s category, Ethiopian athlete Zeineba Yimer Worku delivered an exceptional performance, crossing the finish line in 1:06:33, smashing the previous course record and setting a new benchmark for the Andalusian race.
Meanwhile, in the men’s category, French runner Emmanuel Roudolff claimed victory in a thrilling final sprint with a time of 1:00:24, edging out Kenyan athlete Owen Korir Kapkama. Completing the podium was Kenyan runner Jonathan Kipkoech Kamosong.
The race day through the streets of Seville not only delivered outstanding finish times, but also reaffirmed the enormous growth of this half marathon, considered one of the fastest and most attractive on the national calendar.
