The 2026 Seville Half Marathon will celebrate its thirty-second edition on November 29, a new date to adapt to the city’s sporting calendar, and today unveiled the spectacular shirt from sportswear brand Runnek that all participants, a historic record reaching 22,000 runners, will receive when collecting their race bib at the expo, which will once again be held on the Friday and Saturday before the event at the San Pablo pavilion.

The eagerly awaited shirt was presented by María Tena, Sports Delegate of the Seville City Council; together with Ricardo Villena, manager of the Municipal Sports Institute; Aranza Gómez Guerrero, secretary of Club Atletismo San Pablo; and Mateo Navajas, director of Create Deporte. Sportswear brand Runnek becomes this edition’s technical sponsor of the race and has developed this commemorative shirt with the most advanced textile materials ideal for running and with a design featuring one of Seville’s most iconic images: the Patio de Los Naranjos, with the cathedral and the Giralda in the background.

The Seville Half Marathon will announce some changes to its course to allow several wave starts and a smoother flow for the pack of runners, as well as a new post-finish area and bag drop that will offer greater comfort for the 22,000 participants who sold out race bibs in less than 2 months.

After reaching its historic record with 22,000 runners for the first time, the Seville race has also revealed some striking statistics such as 32% female participation and more than 3,000 international runners. More than 10,200 of those registered confirm it will be their first time running this race, which generated an economic impact on the city of 19.4 million euros.

The Seville half marathon attracts runners from all over the world thanks to the qualities and beauty of its course, completely flat and ideal for achieving fast times or covering its 21,097 meters in the most accessible way. It is one of the flattest half marathons in Europe with only a 5-meter elevation difference between its lowest and highest points, making it a very favorable course for achieving great times over the distance.

The Seville Half Marathon is organized by Create Deporte, with the collaboration of the Municipal Sports Institute of the Seville City Council, San Pablo Athletics Club, Quirónsalud, Hyundai, Runnek as technical sponsor, Plátano de Canarias (the race is part of the Plátano de Canarias National Running Circuit), Sprinter, Instituto Español, Renfe, Oleoestepa, Compeed, City Sightseeing; and has the collaboration of the official media partners Soy Corredor, Sport Life and ABC de Sevilla
